EUROPEAN SPACE AGENCY ERRS2024 AWARD

Ionizing radiation in space can be the single limiting factor of human exploration of deep space and the European Space Agency (ESA) is dedicated to supporting state-of-the-art space radiation research to secure the safety of European crewed space missions. The Science in Space Environment (SciSpacE) Programme has been offering opportunities to European scientists to address scientific questions that will help ESA bring humans to the Moon and beyond. Now, ESA partners with the European Radiation Research Society (ERRS), to draw young scientists to the exciting field of space research. The awardees will receive official certificates, a registration fee to ERRS-2024, and two years of ERRS membership fee.

ESA invites researchers at the Ph.D. and Post-Doc (one award each) levels to submit their applications to the ESA-ERRS Young Investigator Awards!

To apply, young scientists are asked to:

i) submit an abstract under the Space Radiation topic
